Double pocket bags

Well, I am finally paying some attention to my poor neglected blog.....
Last night at club we made the cutest little Double Pocket Bag and everyone wanted me to post the directions. Splitcoast has them already done way better than I can do so just go here .
Things are settling down a bit now so hopefully it won't be another 2 months before I post again. I will try to get some pictures up soon, I have actually gotten alot done on my scrapbook- of course there is still alot to go...

Frog Fun

I just love this punched frog! He is so easy to make and he's SOOOO CUTE!! Jamie needed a frog for her scrapbook page and I knew SCS would have great ideas. I don't remember who made this (actually there were a ton of them on there!) so I can't give proper credit- Sorry!
I hope Mindy likes this card!

Color Wheel

I never really use Not Quite Navy- I figured I should start, so I went to my color wheel. It said, Blush Blossom, Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa (lightly inked around the edges) and Bashful Blue- I didn't think it sounded too good, but it really works! Everytime I use the color wheel I am amazed, some of the combos sound horrible but then you do it and it looks great.

This card is for my upline's birthday....I hope she gets the actual card before she sees it here! I love the little ribbon slide from the silver hodgepodge in the new mini!

Kinkade

Karen got me this stamp months ago and I finally put ink on it today! I had a half day at work due to the snow so I had to go to Ink About It- FYI- the new store is really nice, they have alot more room so it's not so crowded! Anyways, I saw this technique and it inspired me, all you do is put score lines on the cardstock before you stamp it- instant quilt block look. I have no idea who made the one I saw at the store so I can't give the proper credit, but it was really pretty.

Reflecting

This is a card I did with my clubs, I CASED it from my upline, as soon as I saw it I had to make it! The reflection is done using the image transfer sheet from tha Stamp-a-ma-jig.....very easy!
Night of Navy, Very Vanilla and Gold cadstock were used with the metallic pencils for coloring, ad of course one of my favorite sets- Lovely as a Tree. This card is even more beautiful IRL.

Mexico

This was just a small view of the pool in Cancun at the Moon Palace....it was so beautiful there!
I am ready to go back, 24 hour room service, poolside bars, delicious buffets, and the weather was 80 and sunny with a gentle breeze....in other words- paradise!
